Educational principles

The Analog School – Focus on What Really Matters

We foster a quiet study environment by minimizing digital distractions. For us, the focus is on the craft: we read physical books and write by hand. This promotes deep learning, concentration, and human interaction—something screens can never replace.

Reading as a driver of learning

A child who reads well learns everything else better. We place a strong emphasis on daily reading of coherent texts, which helps develop students’ reading comprehension, vocabulary, and critical thinking skills. For us, the joy of reading is a natural part of every school day.

Continuity every step of the way.

We support the children every step of the way, from preschool through 9th grade. This long-term approach fosters an environment where all teachers know every child, and where trusting relationships between educators and students serve as a springboard for personal and academic growth.

Inspiring creativity through all the senses.

Music, drama, and arts and crafts are not just side projects—they are woven into every subject to allow students to learn with all their senses. Through these creative activities, children build self-confidence, practice teamwork, and get to express their personalities in a safe and supportive community.

A window to the world

Our Catholic identity provides students with a global perspective and a deep cultural understanding. By understanding the great narratives and traditions, they gain the tools to interpret literature, art, and world politics—all within an environment characterized by openness, curiosity, and joy.

Learning Together

We believe that education is most effective when there is strong synergy between family and school. We encourage parents to take an active role and strive for close communication so that, together, we can guide each student toward reaching their full potential.
